Mini Travel Teeter  (board & base)

Ready to use right out of the box, this cute mini-size seesaw is great for backyard fun. It stands 12" high (as compared to competition standard of 24"), and has a shorter 8' long board (competition length is 12').  Recommended for small to medium dogs only.  Also makes a great demo obstacle for taking around to shows, parks, pet fairs, etc.

 The amazing feature of this teeter is that it quickly breaks down into 3 pieces and fits right into the back of a small car!  No tools needed - it takes under 30 seconds!

"What exactly must I get to complete this obstacle?" 

Nothing!  No tools needed! It simply "pops" together in under 30 seconds!

"How does the board attach to the base & How easy is it to disassemble everything?"

It attaches with a bar that goes through the plastic planks. It simply pops out.

"How sturdy is it & will it be okay for my dog?"

Because the board is connected in 3 pieces, it does have some "flex" at the joining creases when weight is applied to it.  But it doesn't mean it will break, as we had a 100 lb child walk back and forth on it repeatedly, and it won't break. But it does flex a little, so we have placed our general recommendations on about 60 lbs.  But this should not the whole point in making a decision.  It is a short little thing, only 12" high (as compared to 24" competition teeters, which is the height for all breeds) a 10" wide board (compared to 12" wide), and an 8' board (as compared to 12' competition boards), so it doesn't have anywhere's near as steep an angle, nor the bigger slam of the board when the dog descends.  For this reason it is not recommended for those serious in the sport, because it doesn't really give the dog the feel of controlling a big teeter.  This mini teeter has more of a dainty "pat" when the board hits the ground. 

BUT, we think it's a wonderful obstacle for those who have a small to medium dog, or even a little larger if need be, who want to do agility just for fun.  This base is also just the perfect size for using indoors, taking to parks, - even doggie daycares where a higher see-saw would not be as feasible for safety reasons.

"Does it come in other colors?"

It only comes in blue, with yellow contacts. The yellow contacts are required, but you can easily paint over the blue with any other color you'd like.  It wouldn't take much paint.
